General & Shopping

You can browse all sales and listings without an account. To favorite items and sales, make an offer, purchase, or get seller contact information, you’ll need to sign up / log in.

Payment methods depend on the specific sale or seller. Many allow cash, credit or debit; some may accept electronic payments through integrated services. Always check the listing’s payment terms beforehand or contact the seller/company if it is unclear.

Yes. Many items have fixed prices, but depending on the seller you may be able to submit an offer. The ability to negotiate depends on the listing.

Yes, estate sales, garage sales, and liquidations are generally open to the public. Some sales may require you to reserve a time or follow specific rules. Always check the listing for any requirements.

You’ll see a wide range: furniture, home décor, antiques, collectibles, art, tools, appliances, clothing, etc. Some sales have higher value or specialty items, others have more everyday goods. Photos and descriptions in each listing help you know what to expect.

Use our search tools: filter by location (zip code, city), by distance, by type of sale (estate / garage / liquidation), by date. You can also set up alerts or notifications so you’re notified when sales happen near you or matching your interests.

Offers, Purchase, & After the Sale

It depends on the seller’s terms. Sometimes payment is immediate when you pick up the item; sometimes sellers require payment ahead of pick‐up/shipping. The listing will state what payment is expected and when.

If an item is sold before your offer is accepted, the seller should mark it as sold. Mistakes in listing (incorrect description, condition, size, etc.) should be reported. We encourage sellers to list accurate photos and descriptions.

List A Sale does not charge buyers a fee simply for browsing. Some listings might have service fees, processing fees (especially for credit card or third‐party payment), or a small handling fee depending on the seller. Always check the item/listing terms.

Yes. In most estate/garage sales, you can inspect in-person. When you “Shop Online” in our marketplace, photos in the listing help you see an item’s condition ahead of time. Some sellers may allow previewing or show more detailed photos upon request; others may have “sold as is” terms, so review carefully.

That depends on the seller. Many sales expect buyers to pick up items in person. Some sellers or estate sale companies might offer delivery or facilitate shipping at buyer’s cost; those options will usually be listed. Always confirm with the seller / company beforehand.

Hiring An Estate Sale Company

The company will typically help with: assessing what items to sell, pricing, staging, marketing, running the sale, handling customers, and dealing with unsold items (which may be donated, removed, or returned). Check the company’s services or contact them directly so you know what’s included in their package.

As early as possible. Depending on the size of your sale and the company’s schedule, contacting them a few weeks in advance is advisable so there’s time for assessment, marketing, and preparing the sale.

That depends on your agreement with the seller or estate sale company. Sometimes leftovers are donated, sometimes kept by the clients or seller, and sometimes the estate sale company can help remove or dispose of them, or offer liquidation options. Always clarify that in your contract.

Safety, Terms, & Support

We do several things to protect buyers: verified seller/company profiles, clear item descriptions, and have secure firewalls in place to prevent scammers from accessing your private information. That said, as with any in-person transactions, inspect items, bring someone if needed, and follow any safety guidance in the listing.

Please note: List A Sale is a listing and advertising platform only. We are not a party to the transaction between buyer and seller. Buyers and sellers are responsible for their own dealings, and List A Sale cannot be held legally or financially responsible for disputes, losses, or scams.

If you find inaccurate descriptions, misleading photos, or suspect something fraudulent, please use the “Report” or “Flag Sale” feature on the listing or contact our support team. We review reports and take action when appropriate.

No. List A Sale is an advertising and connection platform. We do not own, inspect, or guarantee the items listed, nor are we involved in transactions. All purchases are made directly with the seller. While we encourage accurate listings and offer reporting tools, List A Sale is not legally or financially responsible for any disputes, damages, or losses that may occur.

Plans & Pricing

  • Pro ($75/mo): 3 sale listings, 75 photos per listing, 10 shop listing credits, directory placement in the 3rd tier.
  • Premier ($125/mo): Unlimited sale listings, 150 photos per listing, 25 shop listing credits, directory placement in the 2nd tier.
  • Pinnacle ($180/mo): Unlimited sale listings, unlimited photos, 50 shop listing credits, 1st tier directory placement, and access to exclusive local leads (zip code exclusivity).

All plans include free AI-targeted listing promotion and free email marketing spotlight.

Yes. Plans auto-renew monthly, and you can upgrade or downgrade at any time.

Yes. If your plan has a photo limit, additional photos are billed at $0.25 each per listing.

Pricing, features, and plan details are subject to change. If we make adjustments, we’ll notify you so you always know what to expect.

Exclusive Leads & Zip Codes

Zip codes are $24.99 per month, or $19.99 per month if you pay annually in full.
Note: the top 100 largest markets may have additional fees.

Yes, Pinnacle members can purchase as many zip codes as are available. Each inquiry from that zip code is routed exclusively to your email.

Shop Listings & Credits

  • $1–$499 → 1 credit
  • $500–$999 → 2 credits
  • $1,000–$2,499 → 3 credits
  • $2,500–$4,999 → 4 credits
  • $5,000+ → 5 credits

Credits are available in packs:

  • 10 credits → $19.99
  • 25 credits → $47.76
  • 50 credits → $92.99
  • 100 credits → $178.99

You’ll receive an email reminder when you’ve used your last credit. Items already listed will auto-renew until credits are depleted. If credits aren’t replenished, items will be removed from the shop until more credits are purchased.
