Listing Policy & Seller Guidelines

By creating a listing on Listasale.com (the “Site”), operated by Listasale Com, LLC, you agree to follow the rules and requirements outlined below. These guidelines are designed to protect buyers, sellers, and the integrity of our marketplace. Failure to comply may result in the removal of listings, suspension or termination of your account, and/or further legal action. 

1. General Listing Standards

Accurate Listings Only

• Descriptions, titles, and photos must truthfully represent the items or sales being offered.
  
• Misleading, vague, or false information is strictly prohibited.
  
• Example: If a price applies to one item in a group photo, you must clearly state that.
  

Transparent Pricing

• Sellers must clearly state the listed price for each item or sale.
  
• Any additional potential costs (such as shipping, delivery, or handling) should be disclosed in the listing.
  

Fair Communication

• Sellers must communicate honestly with buyers and with Listasale Com, LLC.
  
• False or misleading statements, either in listings or communications, may result in immediate suspension. 

2. Payment & Transaction Policy

Listasale.com is an advertising and lead platform.
We do not process, hold, or facilitate payments between buyers and sellers. All transactions take place off-platform, directly between the parties.

When a buyer makes an offer on an item, the seller will receive an email with the buyer’s contact information. It is the responsibility of both parties to communicate, agree on payment terms, and complete the transaction.

Sellers may accept any payment method they choose. However, we strongly recommend secure, verifiable options that include buyer/seller protection (e.g., PayPal “Goods & Services,” credit card, or other trusted processors).

⚠️ Important: Listasale Com, LLC is not responsible—financially or legally—for payment disputes, fraudulent transactions, non-delivery, or dissatisfaction between buyers and sellers. All payments, deliveries, and exchanges are made entirely at the buyer’s and seller’s own risk.

All transactions must still comply with our Prohibited & Restricted Items Policy and all applicable federal, state, and local laws.

3. Listing Requirements

Real Sales & Tangible Goods Only

• Listings must offer actual goods for sale (estate, garage, yard, liquidation, or individual item sales).
  
• Advertisements for services or “items wanted” are not permitted under item listings. 

Complete & Accurate Information
Every listing must include:

• At least one clear, original photo of the actual item or sale (no stock or copied images).
  
• A descriptive and accurate title.
  
• Honest and specific details about condition, quantity, and other relevant factors.
  
• Correct sale dates and/or item location.
  

Previews & “Coming Soon” Sales

• Upcoming sales may be listed but must include at least one genuine photo, a clear description, and accurate dates. 

4. Jewelry & Marked Goods

• Jewelry listings must accurately describe materials (e.g., “gold-plated” vs. “solid gold”).
  
• Any markings (e.g., “18K,” “925,” or hallmark stamps) must truthfully reflect the item’s actual composition.
  
• Misrepresentation of marked goods may result in immediate suspension or account termination. 

5. Shipping & Additional Costs

Sellers are not required to list exact shipping or delivery costs upfront. However, they must clearly state within the listing if additional fees (such as shipping, delivery, or handling) will apply, even if the total amount will be determined later in communication with the buyer.

This ensures transparency while allowing flexibility based on buyer location and delivery arrangements.

6. Prohibited Content

• Counterfeit or replica goods, stolen items, or listings infringing intellectual property rights are strictly prohibited.
  
• Graphic, obscene, or sexually explicit material is not permitted.
  
• Historical items that include sensitive symbols (e.g., swastikas) may only be listed in an educational or historical context and must not glorify hate or violence.
  
• Live animals or animal products may not be listed. 

7. Weapons

• Firearms or weapons may only be listed where legal and in compliance with all local, state, and federal laws.
  
• Weapons requiring a Federal Firearms License (FFL) or background check cannot be sold through the Site.
  
• Explosives and ammunition are prohibited. 

8. Duplicate Listings

Duplicate or near-identical listings for the same item, sale, address, or event are prohibited.

• Only one listing per sale address is permitted, even if multiple companies are involved.
  
• Duplicate listings will be removed without notice. 

Penalties:

1. First Offense: Warning and removal of duplicate listings.
   
2. Second Offense: 7-day account suspension.
   
3. Third Offense: Permanent termination of account without refund. 

9. Intellectual Property

• Sellers must own or have legal rights to all content posted (images, text, logos, etc.).
  
• Using copyrighted materials, trademarks, or brand assets without authorization is prohibited.
  
• Misrepresentation of company identity or brand affiliation will result in listing removal and may lead to further action. 

10. Exclusive Listing Rights

• Sales may only be listed by the company or individual contracted to conduct the sale.
  
• Companies may not post on behalf of another entity or individual without permission.
  
• Joint sales must be listed under one designated account. 

11. Enforcement

Listasale Com, LLC reserves the right to remove any listing or suspend any account at its sole discretion for violations of this or any related policy. Refunds or credits are not guaranteed for removed listings. Repeat or serious violations may result in account termination, withheld services, and/or legal action.

By creating a listing, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to this policy, along with the Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and Prohibited & Restricted Items Policy of Listasale.com.
